Accessibility
Our commitment to an accessible parish website
St. Peter and the Guardian Angels wants this website to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including people who use keyboards, screen readers, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our approach
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where reasonably possible. The site uses semantic headings, labelled form controls, keyboard-operable navigation and dialogs, visible focus handling and responsive layouts.
Known limitations
Some older parish archive material, historic PDFs or third-party services may not meet the same accessibility standard as newly created website content. Where an older document is difficult to use, please contact the parish and ask for the information in another accessible format.
Accessibility audit status
This statement is not a certification of full WCAG conformance. The final live website should receive a structured accessibility check after launch, including keyboard-only use, zoom, colour contrast, forms, dialogs, screen-reader behaviour and representative mobile testing.
